Intel Ships New Solid-State Drives, Lowers Prices

 
Intel has announced the move to 34-nanometer (nm) manufacturing process for its award-winning NAND flash-based Solid State Drive (SSD), the Intel® X25-M SATA SSD. Now shipping, it's aimed as a hard drive replacement for PCs and notebooks, delivering the same and in some cases better performance than its 50nm predecessor -- along with up to 60 percent lower prices.
