SUNNYVALE, CA -- February 1, 2005 --Spansion LLC, the Flash memory subsidiary of AMD (NYSE:AMD) and Fujitsu Limited (TSE:6702), announced today that Underwriters Laboratories Inc., an independent, not-for-profit product-safety testing and certification organization, has certified all of its Flash memory design, development and manufacturing facilities around the world to the stringent ISO/TS 16949:2002 worldwide automotive quality management system specification.
