Virtualization Leader Grew First Quarter Revenues 69% to $438 Million . Supplemental Financial Tables
PALO ALTO, Calif., April 22, 2008 — VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), the global leader in virtualization solutions from the desktop to the datacenter, today announced financial results for the first quarter of 2008:
Revenues for the first quarter were $438 million, an increase of 69% compared to the first quarter of 2007. GAAP operating income for the first quarter was $48 million, compared to $46 million in the first quarter of 2007.
