AMD64 Technology Selected By DaimlerChrysler for...

  
Sunnyvale, CA -- January 19, 2004 --AMD (NYSE:AMD) today announced that DaimlerChrysler AG has implemented its new AMD Opteron™ processor-based cluster in the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center (MTC) in Germany. Based on AMD64 technology, the new cluster is the second AMD processor-based cluster installed by DaimlerChrysler in the last three years.
